Lucy's childhood passion for the saxophone led to her studying it in her
early 20's, and within 4 years obtaining a distinction at Grade 8 with the
Associated Board of The Royal School of Music. She quickly became a member
in various rock 'n' roll bands, and subsequently function bands playing
at venues including The Institute of Directors, London; The Mayfair Hotel,
London; and Royal Ascot Racecourse.
Lucy's classical training gave her the love of playing passionate ballads as well as fun, light hearted swing/jazz. This lead her to become a much sought after performer for cocktail receptions and dinner parties for a variety of clients including the Royal Bank of Scotland, Natwest Bank and BMW, and also for many wedding parties, playing at venues including Hever Castle, Leeds Castle, The Lansdown Members Club, Stapleford Park and many hotels across the south.
